Loreen Ervin

Loreen is one of those career credit union professionals. This year marks her 30th year in the industry, and she couldn't be happier.

"LANECO lives by the original purpose of credit unions," she recently stated when asked about her thoughts on the industry. "We serve our members with outstanding personal service and follow the "not-for-profit, not-for-charity, all for service" motto. And our members are behind us in that philosophy."

When it comes to stories or anecdotes that showcase legendary service, Loreen has quite a few. But the one she most fondly recalls was a time when a member rushed off to the hospital to be with her husband before he went into an emergency surgery. "There were only two of us at the credit union when she called asking if we could bring her some money because she didn't have anything. She couldn't even buy a soda to pass the time." At 5pm, Loreen, being one of only two people on staff that day, locked up the credit union and drove over to Sacred Heart. She helped the family with their immediate financial needs as well as moral support. "It just seemed natural. We're all family at LANECO."

Loreen's hobbies are as widespread as her love for credit unions. When she's not at work, she enjoys reading, drag racing, horseback riding, and exploring the great outdoors on the back of an ATV. Her family includes a cocker spaniel named Tuffy. The rest of her family live in Northern California.
